Sp(oil)ed

~ This is an overexposed picture of a heart-shaped oil stain in my neighbor’s parking spot. I decided to play with the exposure for fun, and liked how it turned out. A friend pointed out how it looks like the universe. As if we ripped through the tapestry of illusions, and peeked into the Galaxies. Often times on my shamanic journeys, I have such visions. We live in a fractal universe,  so everything we think, feel, and experience has an endless ripple effect through space and time. If we could not only grasp this concept, but embody the feeling of it, I’m sure our thoughts and actions would be far more compassionate. Be mindful of yourself and your fellow-man. We really do affect those around us, and during the holidays, it’s especially important to keep a cheerful, loving vibe. Not everyone has what we have, so they can use all the love we have to offer.
